Expedia Group has cut eight senior leaders, shifting authority from coordinating executives to focus on smaller AI-focused squads capable of building closer to the brands they support. Sachin Singh, senior vice president of book-to-trip technology, and seven other vice presidents covering payments, fraud and risk, and self-service tools are leaving the company. The reorg centralizes AI, data, and agentic platforms under Chief AI and Data Officer Xavier Amatriain.
