Oracle has initiated a round of layoffs as part of a broader company restructuring driven by shifts in artificial intelligence (AI) and business realignment.

Blizzard employees, represented by the Communications Workers of America (CWA), have secured a historic union contract protecting 1,900 workers across key franchises including World of Warcraft, Diablo, and Overwatch. This comes amid Microsoft’s plan to lay off an additional 1,600 employees as part of broader reductions affecting 3,200 jobs.
